Before watching this next video feed, I ask that you please take into account the above quote, and how powerful it truly is. We cannot avoid tragedy nor turn a blind eye to it at all times. So, let’s retrain our minds in order to change how we view and react to what we might have once turned away from.
The following video contains 28 images that may stop you in your tracks. You may instinctively want to think “how sad” or “how unfortunate,” when in actuality there is beauty, hope, and love nestled in each image. Although you’ve got to look just a bit harder to see it, it’s there.
With so much war, violence, and division all around us–or at least being blasted through every media outlet we turn to–let’s begin to look for the helpers. When you are a media witness to tragedy, dig just a bit deeper to see the hope, the joy, and positivity that can be found in what appears to be simply tragic.
If we cannot change our surroundings then we must change our reactions to these surroundings, to accommodate our heart’s true desires. We must let out and lead with love, hope, kindness, charity, peace and joy. We must be the helpers.
