Take a minute to appreciate the good sportsmanship that was on display in Medical Lake, Washington, on Saturday night.
During the game, Riverside High gave their player, Logan, an opportunity to hit the hardwood. Logan has Down Syndrome and looked eager to get out on the court. He hustled out and played defense before his opportunity came to score for his team. A Medical Lake player handed the ball to Logan and he took off toward the basket. He took his shot and missed. He got the ball back and missed again. At this point, everyone on the floor and in the stands was pulling for Logan.vOn his fourth attempt? Swish. Nothing but net. And the crowd went wild.
