Kids Rewarded for Doing Good Deeds

February 2, 2017

In West Plains, Missouri, Justin Mitchell, owner of Colton’s Steak House & Grill, wanted to create a program to honor the children of the community. He contacted and joined forces with local radio personality Cowboy Rick to bring a good deeds program to life, in order to recognize the youth of this area.

The program is dedicated to kids ages 4 through 12 who are “guilty” of performing good deeds. Each school quarter one girl and one boy will be rewarded for their “goodness” by each receiving a bicycle and a one-day family-pass for four to Silver Dollar City. Silver Dollar City is a nearby resort that that features the world’s most daring wood roller coaster.
