With student loan debts on the rise yet again, it appears we are moving in the wrong direction. In 2008, roughly 1.1 million students graduated in debt, averaging approximately $25,000.00 each. In 2016, that number has jumped to 1.3 million students. Today, student loan debt accounts for 1 trillion dollars of the United States deficit.
